Janssen Biotech (Johnson & Johnson) This collaboration was signed in December 2011 to develop multiple Phylomer-based drug candidates using novel cell-penetrating peptides derived from Phylogica's Phylomer® platform. Janssen has the option to expand the scope of the collaboration for the development of a further ten drug candidates. Phylogica received an upfront payment; is eligible to receive research funding over a minimum of 18 months; and could receive further research funding, license fees, milestone payments and royalties on worldwide sales. Phylogica received an upfront payment of US$0.5 million and is eligible to receive further payments of up to US$134 million as well as royalties on worldwide sales. In December 2011, Phylogica received an undisclosed milestone payment for successfully completing the first stage of the collaboration.

Phylogica has received payments of US$1.5 million and is eligible to receive further payments of up to US$98 million plus royalties on worldwide sales.
